Amos

Amos was a simple herdsman whom the Lord called to hold His people accountable to His covenant. The Word of the Lord through Amos can at times be hard, challenging and even seem harsh. But when we remember that the Lord is using the prophetic Word to make us more like Christ, we will be comforted. In Amos, we hear the Lion's roar, and we need to remember that the lion of Judah is the one who has purchased our redemption.
